Job Description and Responsibilities

The Junior Project Manager assists to effectively coordinate administrative efforts with field production efforts. The Junior Project Manager works closely with the Project Manager and the Superintendent to effectively and efficiently schedule labor and material while overseeing the project. 

The Junior Project Manager will assist with:

  • Daily planning and reviewing of each project. 
  • Implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards.
  • Verifying estimates, reviewing project drawings, and specifications;
  • Create and disseminate schedules; specifies materials and supplies.
  • Financial responsibilities include providing/reviewing budget information and monitoring expenditures
  • Coordinates with general contractors, vendors, suppliers, and customers to ensure the projects are completed from start to finish


Job Requirements

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • Minimum three (3) years of construction/roofing industry experience or a Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field is preferred
  • Basic understanding of commercial roofing practices, codes and regulations
  • Problem solving, planning and organizing skills
  • Strong attention to details
  • Microsoft Word, Excel
  • Ability to understand the sense of urgency in accomplishing tasks
  • Ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence and policy documents, as well as converse comfortably with associates
  • Must be comfortable visiting actual roofing job sites (without fear of heights)
  • Must have a valid driver's license
